Perimenopause & Menopause Support for Women, Queer, and Gender-Diverse Individuals
I offer an affirming, compassionate space for people navigating the emotional and physical transitions of perimenopause and menopause, including women, queer women, non-binary individuals, and people of diverse gender identities who were assigned female at birth. This season of life can hold unique experiences for LGBTQ+ communities, including questions of identity, shifting relationships with your body, community, aging, and belonging.
You may be noticing increased anxiety, irritability or rage that seems to come out of nowhere, difficulty sleeping, changes in mood, grief, or a sense that you no longer feel like yourself. Perhaps your relationships are shifting, your career or priorities are changing, or you're finding yourself reflecting on who you are and what this next chapter of life means.
Perimenopause is not simply a hormonal transition—it can be an emotional, relational, and identity transition as well. Therapy can provide a space to slow down, make sense of these changes, honor both the losses and possibilities that may be emerging, and reconnect with yourself with greater compassion and clarity.
